A home with character is never uniform—it breathes through layers. Glass and china catch the light, nature brings grounding, and animal features add warmth and play.

  • Glassware & China — reflective surfaces, heirloom cups, and plates that hold memory.
  • Nature’s Touch — plants, wood, and organic textures that soften the edges.
  • Animal Companions — nostalgic bears, collectable creatures, or subtle motifs that spark delight.

The Plum Dish Animal Kingdom

The key is balance. Not excess, but harmony: a bear on the shelf beside a vintage vase, a china cup resting near a leafy sprig. Each piece speaks, but none shouts.

This mix‑and‑match approach creates a space with layered character—nostalgic yet fresh, curated yet alive.

With this digital age can become lazy, but there's nothing nicer than getting an image of a beloved pet, past to present and putting it in a vintage frame next to a small vase or trinket box. Maybe put a glass bird near a silky cushion. A kitsch cat with a candlestick, and so on. A creative canvas bringing all things we love together, in one tidy space. Or in my case, not so tidy, since my flat is full to the brim of boxes and kitsch, cottagecore ... not to mention vintage chic. But mostly my little fluffies chilling within the history of other folks past. Take a peek at my Animal Empire

Warmly, Rabbit 🐇
